CEPI, along with representatives of the audiovisual and film sectors, has just published a petition that seeks to call on all governments to “stand firm and protect the systems that support independent film and audiovisual creation”, so that culture, creativity and democratic access to different narratives can continue to follow their course.
In Europe, the sector needs an effective and adapted legal framework to safeguard its long-term resilience, cultural diversity and the vitality of the European cultural and creative ecosystem. More than 100 signatories have joined CEPI, including APIT.
